STREET BANK
CORPORATE OFFICES AND BRANCH BANK Ed Milligan, |
||

Completed just two years ago at a cost of $1.5 million, Main Street Banks opened its new corporate headquarters on Chastain Road in Kennesaw, Georgia. The 12,500 square foot building is divided between a full service bank and the holding company offices on the first floor. The second floor was designed to allow for leasable space or future bank expansion. The facility is located within a major Taylor Mathis office / retail development. The building's exterior reflects the corporate image the bank envisioned for their clientele. The glass entrance of the building is surrounded by polished granite and the structure is covered in a peach colored brick capped with a limestone frieze. | Building
for the Wrong Reasons by Robert C. Foreman
Is your church planning to build for the wrong reasons? Here are several reasons that churches have wrongly used to justify a building program. 1. Our church can't grow
unless we build. The decision to build should be based on careful consideration of several key factors. Careful study of existing spaces and site can determine if the existing facilities are adequate in quantity. Quality of spaces should be examined to see if they meet the needs of the ministries. The membership must support the growth in spirit as well as financially. The entire article is available on FSFarchitects.com |

Baptist Church has just commissioned FSF to design their new multi-phased
youth and fellowship expansions. Final budget and scope
will be determined after their fundraising. Design of the entire
facility has already begun.
Albany First Baptist Church is beginning a complete facility study to determine their needs and develop a plan for future growth. Our completion of this study will help them set the course for their future. |
