"Where there is no vision, the people perish."
     - Proverbs 29:18
Throughout the Bible, there are numerous examples of the need of a clear plan and vision to lead the people. People follow a well developed vision.  It gives them a direction, goal and a sense of purpose.  Achieving the goal brings pride, unity and a sense of community.  FSF is experienced in helping a church develop their vision and to bring it to life.  We assist in bring about the clear direction that  assures a successful project.

MAIN STREET BANK

CORPORATE OFFICES AND BRANCH BANK
Kennesaw, Georgia

Ed Milligan,
President & CEO

Completed just two years ago at a cost of $1.5 million, Main Street Banks opened its new corporate headquarters on Chastain Road in Kennesaw, Georgia.  The 12,500 square foot building is divided between a full service bank and the holding company offices on the first floor.  The second floor was designed to allow for leasable space or future bank expansion.

The facility is located within a major Taylor Mathis office / retail development.  The building's exterior reflects the corporate image the bank envisioned for their clientele.  The glass entrance of the building is surrounded by polished granite and the structure is covered in a peach colored brick capped with a limestone frieze.

FEATURED ARTICLE
Building for the Wrong Reasons by Robert C. Foreman

Is your church planning to build for the wrong reasons?  Here are several reasons that churches have wrongly used to justify a building program.

1.  Our church can't grow unless we build.
2.  A new building will improve our image.
3.  A building program will give a purpose.
4.  We need to keep up with other churches.
5.  It will show our youth, seniors, etc. that we really care about them.

The decision to build should be based on careful consideration of several key factors.  Careful study of existing spaces and site can determine if the existing facilities are adequate in quantity.   Quality of spaces should be examined to see if they meet the needs of the ministries.  The membership must support the growth in spirit as well as financially.

NEWS AT FSF ARCHITECTS
We at Foreman Seeley Fountain Architects are saddened by the tragic events of the past months.  We lift our prayers for those that were lost and their families.
Eastside Baptist Church has just commissioned FSF to design their new multi-phased youth and fellowship expansions.    Final budget and scope will be determined after their fundraising.  Design of the entire facility has already begun.

Albany First Baptist Church is beginning a complete facility study to determine their needs and develop a plan for future growth.  Our completion of this study will help them set the course for their future.
